Prime Minister virtually inaugurated India's first robotic rail factory

Jhansi, March 12 (HS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated various railway projects worth more than Rs 85 thousand crore in the country on Tuesday.

The inauguration of the Railway Coach Refurbishment Factory in Jhansi was also one of them. The Railway Coach Refurbishment Factory was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through virtual medium. Along with this, the Prime Minister also gave many other gifts to Jhansi Railway Division. This railway factory built in Jhansi is the first such factory where robots will work. In the paint section of this railway workshop, work is done with the help of robots. Along with this, repair work of Vande Bharat coach will also start here in future. Its proposal has also been sent.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the Railway Coach Refurbishment Factory through virtual medium. On this occasion, Union Minister Bhanu Pratap Verma, Jhansi-Lalitpur MP Anurag Sharma, Sadar MLA Ravi Sharma and BJP Metropolitan President Hemant Parihar were present at the factory. MP Anurag Sharma said that the opening of this coach factory will provide direct employment to thousands of people. With this, many types of new jobs will start around the factory. He said that in view of the increasing number of Vande Bharat Express trains in the country, work for repairing Vande Bharat coaches will also be started here soon.

Use of this technology for the first time in the country

Factory chief manager Atul Kanojia said that 250 LHV coaches will be repaired here in a year. Also, for the first time, a robotic paint factory has been built in this factory. This technology has been used for the first time in India in Jhansi. There is a systematic assembly line here. There is an automatic system in the store. Not only this, most of the work in the factory will be done on outsourcing. Therefore many people will get employment here directly and indirectly. The proposal of Vande Bharat has also been sent.

Cabinet Minister said, all-round development of Railways is taking place

On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Bhanu Pratap Verma said that all-round development of Railways is being done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The foundation stone of this renovated coach factory was laid by the Prime Minister in February 2019. Which has cost more than Rs 600 crore. It was completed a year ago. Many people are working in this. Many people are getting employment and more factories will be ready in future.
