Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to withdraw reservation: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has targeted BJP and alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is against reservation and wants to withdraw it.

Addressing an election rally in Nirmal, which falls under Adilabad (ST) Lok Sabha seat in Telangana, he claimed that the ongoing Lok Sabha elections is a fight between two ideologies. In which Congress is trying to protect the Constitution. Whereas the BJP-RSS alliance wants to destroy the Constitution and the rights of the people.

He further said that the Prime Minister is against reservation. He wants to withdraw the reservation. The biggest issue before the country is to increase the reserve by 50 percent. Rahul Gandhi alleged that BJP wants people from backward classes, Dalits and tribals to remain backward.

Meanwhile, sources have said that Priyanka Gandhi will campaign for Congress in Rae Bareli and Amethi from Monday.

It is noteworthy that Congress announced on Friday that Rahul Gandhi will contest from Rae Bareli and Kishorelal Sharma from Amethi. Sources said that Priyanka Gandhi will campaign aggressively to ensure the victory of Rahul Gandhi and Kishori Lal Sharma.

At a road show in support of AAP candidate from South Delhi Sahiram Pehalwan, Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal alleged that Chief Minister Kejriwal has been jailed to suppress her voice. It is noteworthy that Lok Sabha elections are to be held in Delhi on 25th May.
