Vienna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Vienna late Tuesday evening. He was welcomed at the airport by Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schaubenberg.
Modi, who arrived in Austria after a successful two-day visit to Russia, held extensive talks with Prime Minister Nehammer today. Prime Minister (Chancellor) Karl Nehammer hugged Modi who arrived for the talks and also took a selfie with him.
Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Austria after 40 years. He also held talks with President Alexander Vavdar Belen.
When Modi arrived at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel from the airport, he was given a grand welcome by the Austrian Philharmonic Band playing Vande Mataram.
