This CNG plant in Gaushala has been built at a cost of Rs 32 crore from the Social Responsibility Fund of Indian Oil Corporation. Keeping in mind the possibility of future expansion, one hectare of land has been kept reserved. To further expand the cow shed, an amount of Rs 2 crore has been given from the MP Fund for the construction of a modern shed for two thousand cows. Gwalior Municipal Corporation is likely to earn an income of approximately Rs 7 crore from this plant.
