US President Joe Biden posted on social media after the meeting at his residence in Greenville, Delaware, saying, “The United States' partnership with India is stronger, closer, and more dynamic than at any time in history. Every time Prime Minister Modi and I sit down, I am amazed by our ability to find new areas of cooperation. Today was no different.”
The purpose of the discussion during this meeting of the two leaders is to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and the US, focusing on trade, defense and regional security. However, China and Russia are also expected to be discussed in this bilateral meeting.
