New Delhi, 16 October (Hindustan Reporter). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched BJP's nationwide active membership campaign. Prime Minister Modi became the first active member of the party in the presence of party national president JP Nadda and party membership campaign coordinator Vinod Tawde. Along with this, he also launched the active membership campaign of the party.
Prime Minister Modi said in his ex-post that he feels proud to become the first active member of BJP, giving impetus to our efforts to make a developed India. He said that he is launching the active membership campaign in the presence of National President JP Nadda. This is a movement that will further strengthen our party at the grassroots level and ensure effective contribution of our party workers to national progress. He said that to become an active member a worker has to register 50 members in a booth or an assembly constituency. Such workers will be eligible to contest elections for Mandal Committee and above posts. Also, he will get many opportunities to work for the party in the coming time.
It is noteworthy that BJP has named this membership campaign as 'Sangathan Parv Membership Campaign – 2024'. As per the schedule of the membership campaign which started on September 2, its first phase ended on September 25 and the second phase ended on October 15. The party has crossed the figure of 9 crore members on Tuesday itself. Under the third phase of the national membership campaign, BJP's active membership campaign has been started from Wednesday.
