The number of women suffering from cervical cancer is increasing in India. In cancer care, collaboration is essential to treatment. An integrated approach that includes prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment is essential to reduce the burden of cancer. Prime Minister Modi said that the most cost-effective cervical cancer screening program is running on a large scale in India.

India also runs the world's largest health insurance scheme. And special centers have also been created to provide medicines to everyone at affordable prices. India has developed its own vaccine for cervical cancer. And Modi said new treatment protocols are being launched with the help of AI.

I am happy to share that India will provide 40 million vaccine doses to Indo-Pacific countries through the GAVI and QUAD initiatives. He said that these 4 crore vaccine doses will be rays of hope in the lives of crores of people.

Cervical cancer is cancer that occurs at the end of the uterus. More than 12,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year in the United States. Experts say that there is a risk of this number doubling in India. In such a situation, it was announced in the last budget of the government that for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer, free vaccination will be given to girls of 9-14 years of age.

As per the report given by Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, cervical cancer is the most common type of cancer in India and its number is increasing day by day. Cervical cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases affecting women in India, which spreads from the vagina to the uterus.

Cervical cancer is directly related to HIV (HPV) infection. It is one of the most common types of cancer in our country. Since it spreads contagiously, the greater the delay in treatment, the greater the risk to life.

It is important to get the HPV vaccine because HPV infection is the leading cause of cervical cancer. Girls aged 11-26 years should compulsorily get HIV vaccine. Women should not have unprotected sex because the disease is spread by a man infected with HPV.
