Mumbai: Silver price rose in Mumbai jewelery market today. The rise in gold was being digested. In the world market, gold prices ranged from $2189 to $2190, from $2179 to $2180 and a high of $2178 to $2179 per ounce. Domestically, gold prices rose by Rs 100 to Rs 67,600 from Rs 99.50 and Rs 67,800 to Rs 99.90 in the Ahmedabad jewelery market today.
Ahmedabad silver price increased by Rs 500 per kg to Rs 74000. After gold in the global market, silver prices ranged from 24.31 to 24.32 to 24.46 to 24.39 to 24.40 dollars an ounce.
Global platinum prices rose to $927-928 from $914-915 an ounce. Whereas palladium prices were from 1023 to 1045 to 1034 to 1035 dollars per ounce. Global copper prices rose 0.57 percent today. The rise in copper is said to be getting fresh support.
However, crude oil prices remained soft in the world market today. US crude prices were at $77.25 to $77.75 a barrel, down from $78.01. While the price of Brent crude was at the low level of 82.08 from 81.35 to 81.85 dollars. New demand remained slow.
Today the price of silver in Mumbai bullion market was Rs 72,300 and without GST it was Rs 72,547. While in Mumbai, gold prices rose from Rs 65,400 to Rs 65,372 to Rs 65,383 without GST at 99.50.
While the price of 99.90 was Rs 65650 to Rs 65635 to Rs 65646. Gold and silver prices in Mumbai were 3 percent more than this price including GST.
