New Delhi, 29 October (Hindustan Reporter). There seems to be pressure in the domestic stock market on the day of Dhanteras. Today, mixed trading started at a flat level in the market. Sensex opened with a slight gain and Nifty opened with a slight fall. After the start of trading, both these indices gained strength for some time due to the support of buying, but after some time, due to selling pressure, both the indices dipped into the red. After the end of the first hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a fall of 0.40 percent and Nifty with a fall of 0.47 percent.
After the first hour of trading, among the stock market's leading stocks, NTPC, ICICI Bank, Bharat Electronics, Grasim Industries and Larsen & Toubro were trading with gains ranging from 2.03 percent to 0.40 percent. On the other hand, shares of Cipla, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Shriram Finance and Mahindra & Mahindra were seen trading with a fall of 3.24 percent to 2.11 percent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,256 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,251 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 1,005 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 5 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 25 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 10 shares were seen trading in green mark and 40 shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today with a gain of 32.16 points at the level of 80,037.20 points. After the start of trading, this index jumped to 80,104.59 points with the support of buying, but after this, due to selling pressure in the market, the movement of this index also declined. After the first hour of trading due to continuous selling, at 10:15 am the Sensex was trading at 79,681.25 points, down by 323.79 points.
Unlike Sensex, NSE's Nifty started trading today with a weakness of 10.30 points at the level of 24,328.85 points. After the opening of the market, this index jumped to 24,378.65 points with the support of buying, but after this the movement of this index declined due to selling started. After the first hour of trading in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 24,225.95 points with a weakness of 113.20 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Monday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 80,005.04 points with a gain of 602.75 points or 0.76 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Monday's trading at the level of 24,339.15 points with a rise of 158.35 points or 0.65 percent.
