Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he is ready to discuss Ukraine with newly elected US President Donald Trump. But the occupied territories are not ready to make any concession on the territory. Also, Kiev should give up its insistence on joining NATO.

It is noteworthy that newly elected President Donald Trump has sworn to establish peace in Ukraine as soon as possible. In response, President Putin said that Russia is ready for peace talks. But Russia is not ready to give up Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Luhatsk and Kherson. (These areas are occupied by Russia) They are ready to withdraw troops only from small areas like Kharkiv and Mykolaiv. (Kharkiv is in the north of Ukraine, Mykolaiv is in the south)

The vast majority of areas that Putin wants to continue occupying are Russian allies (Russians).

Earlier this month, Putin had said that ground realities should be taken into account before any ceasefire. He also expressed concern that even a short-term ceasefire would allow the West to re-arm Ukraine. If Ukraine does not remain neutral, there is no possibility of establishing good neighborly relations between Russia and Ukraine. This is what President Putin said at the Valdai discussion group on the 7th of this month.

This situation (the creation of a massive Russian attack) would have been created if Biden had sent ATACMS to Ukraine first, even if for self-defense. A condition for the missiles was given, but when Biden withdrew the condition, Ukraine fired six missiles near Moscow. Although five of them were shot down, only one missile fell near Moscow.

Since then, Putin has de facto turned toward the West and launched massive air and ground attacks on Ukraine. Due to this, the broken Ukraine is becoming more ruined. The chances of peace proposals or inclusive talks are diminishing.
