President Draupadi Murmu pays tribute to Sir Sivasagar Ramgoolam and Sir Aniruddha Jugnauth in Mauritius

Port Louis, March 12 (HS). President Draupadi Murmu, arriving here on her first state visit to Mauritius, paid homage to the great sons of Mauritius, Sir Sivasagar Ramgoolam and Sir Aniruddha Jugnauth, at the Botanical Gardens of Pamplemousses. Earlier he met his Mauritius counterpart Prithviraj Singh Rupan. Discussed extensively on ways to take forward the long-term and multidimensional bilateral relations between India and Mauritius. President Murmu also gifted a 'Rupay' card to Rupan. Murmu will be the chief guest at the National Day celebrations of Mauritius on Tuesday.
