President Draupadi Murmu not only had darshan of Ram Lalla during his Ayodhya visit, but also performed special rituals to enhance the spiritual power of the temple. ‘Shri Ram Yantra Establishment’ Also participated as the chief host. This Yantra is installed at a special place near the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, which is considered extremely auspicious as per Vastu and Shastra.
President’s Ayodhya visit: Main attractions
Installation of Shri Ram Yantra: The President installed the sacred ‘Shri Ram Yantra’ made of gold and copper amid chanting of Vedic mantras. According to religious beliefs, this yantra symbolizes happiness, peace and prosperity and concentrates the energy of the temple.
Darshan and Aarti of Ramlala: President Murmu prostrated before the idol of Ramlala and participated in the divine aarti after anointment with Saryu water. During this, officials of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust were also present.
Attendance in Hanumangarhi: Before going to Ram temple, the President visited Hanumangarhi temple as per tradition and took blessings of Sankatmochan Hanuman ji.

Special gift from the Trust
Champat Rai and other members of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust presented a beautiful model and memento of the Ram Temple to the President. The President also closely observed the progress of the construction work of the temple and the intricacies of the carvings and appreciated the skill of the artisans.
