dehydration of the body
Dr. Pankaj Verma says that the problem of heat stroke is quite common in summer. When there are gusts of hot air and the temperature is very high, you may suffer from heat stroke. Due to this, the fluid inside our body starts drying up, which reduces the amount of sodium and water. Due to heat stroke, you are also likely to suffer from heat edema (swelling in the body), heat rash, heat cramps (stiffness in the body), heat syncope (fainting), etc.
So what are the preventive measures?
To protect yourself from heat stroke, try not to go out unnecessarily when the heat is at its peak. Go out in the sun only with an umbrella. Put sunglasses on your eyes and a hat on your head. Wear loose and cotton clothes. To keep the body hydrated, you can drink lemon water, buttermilk, lassi, coconut water or apple sherbet. Apart from this, drink glucose or electrolyte drink.
According to experts, take care of your eating habits also. Include things like kiwi, watermelon and cucumber in your diet. This will naturally cause water deficiency in your body.
