Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak gave these instructions to the medical officers on Thursday.
Keeping in view the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the state health department has started its preparations. Brajesh Pathak has directed all medical officers to complete all preparations related to heat protection in hospitals. Be cautious about heat wave also.
He said that data on heat-related diseases should be collected at the ground level. Do a comparative study with respect to last year. Make sure to make your preparations based on the alerts from the weather department. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that the guidelines coming from the Center should also be followed completely. Make arrangements for essential medicines, intravenous fluids, ice-packs, ORS, drinking water in hospitals for the general public.
