Jagannathpur Rath Yatra Mahotsav, a symbol of the religious and cultural identity of Jharkhand, is going to be organized this year also with full devotion and enthusiasm. Preparations for this grand event starting from July 16 are now in the final stages. The historic Jagannath temple complex in Ranchi is being decorated like a bride, and special enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees for the darshan of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra. According to the organizing committee, in view of the huge crowd of devotees this year, strict arrangements have been made for security and darshan arrangements.

Special arrangements and security for devotees

Arrangements ranging from cleanliness to drinking water and security are being finalized in the fair area. For the convenience of the devotees, the administration has put up barricades in and around the temple premises so that the crowd can be controlled. The work of repairing and decorating the chariot is almost complete. The organizing committee said that this time lakhs of devotees will participate in the procession from the temple to Mausi Bari on the day of the main Rath Yatra, for which a plan for traffic and crowd management has been prepared.

During the Rath Yatra, not only religious rituals but also various cultural programs will be organised, which will provide a big platform to the art and culture of Jharkhand.
