Jaipur, September 18 (HS). For the preparations of the upcoming assembly by-elections in the state, State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara and the party's Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa held a meeting of important Congress leaders and officials of Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Deoli-Uniyara, Khinvsar, Chaurasi, Salumber and Ramgarh assembly constituencies at the State Congress Committee War Room and took organizational feedback and provided important guidelines by discussing the strategy for the elections.
State General Secretary and Media Incharge Swarnim Chaturvedi said that in the meeting, State President Dotasara has directed all the division, district and assembly incharges and district presidents to hold meetings in each Mandal of these assembly constituencies and discuss with the workers as well as work for organizational strength and get feedback for the elections. It has been decided in the meeting that after the incharges of the concerned area hold meetings at the Mandal level, State President Dotasara will visit all these assembly constituencies and huge public meetings of the party will be organized in which senior leaders of the Congress party will participate.
Dotasara and Randhawa instructed all Congress leaders and workers present in the meeting to prepare for the upcoming assembly by-elections and said that all Congressmen present should go to their respective assembly constituencies with the resolve to make the party victorious and by engaging in activities like public relations campaigns every day, expose the failures and anti-people policies of the BJP government at the Centre and in Rajasthan.
Congress's protest on Thursday
Dotasara has condemned the indecent remarks made by the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies against the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha. And, in protest against the indecent and unbecoming remarks made by the BJP leaders, a protest will be held by the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee under the leadership of Dotasara at 11 am on Thursday, 19 September at Shaheed Smarak, near Government Hostel, Jaipur. A large number of Congress workers including Congress MPs and candidates, MLAs and candidates, officials, people's representatives of municipal bodies and Panchayat Raj institutions will participate in the protest.
