While talking to the journalist brothers at Prayagraj Circuit House, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that if the authorities had taken timely action on the problem of waterlogging in Prayagraj, then the problems that the citizens had to face today would not have happened. He said that the problem will be investigated and action will be taken against those found guilty. He apologized for the inconvenience caused to the citizens and assured that a permanent solution to the problem would be found. Shri Maurya ji said that this is not just a double engine but a triple engine government. Everyone is doing development work together at the centre, state and local level. Officials have been given strict instructions to fulfill their responsibilities seriously and make the drainage system effective. He said that polythene is a big problem in clogging of drains. The government has banned single use plastic. Every citizen should take responsibility and stop using single use plastic.
On the education system, he said that the BJP government has made comprehensive reforms from primary to higher and technical education. The schools have been transformed and any complaint will be taken immediate cognizance.
On the issue of reservation, Shri Maurya ji said that the reservation system implemented in the government will continue in future also. Sanjay Nishad ji’s demand is related to inclusion of various castes of Nishad community in Scheduled Caste and this issue is in the cognizance of the government.

Shri Maurya said that whether it is Samajwadi Party or Samaptavadi Party, there was a time when there were 5 MPs in his family, in the coming time, he may be left with only 5 MPs, 5 MLAs and the future of Samajwadi Party may be limited to cleanliness.
