Air Force and DRDO are ready

The Indian Air Force requires aircraft that have jet engines, can maintain an altitude of 40,000 feet and above, have the latest navigation systems and can fly for at least eight hours at a cruise speed of more than Mach 0.7. Also, according to Air Force requirements, the radar system of the new Eye aircraft must have 360-degree coverage. Netrani is being prepared jointly by the Air Force and DRDO.

The Air Force's Netra aircraft is an Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft. It is called the eye of India in the sky.

– This aircraft detects enemy aircraft and other flying objects present in the sky.

– After collecting this information, it informs the fighter planes flying with it, so that the possible threat can be countered.

– It can track and locate aircraft, missiles, ships and vehicles.

– This aircraft can give direct commands

– The Indian Air Force already has two Netra aircraft. Now apart from this, there is a plan to make six more Netra Vimanas.

– It has an indigenously developed Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar system.

– It has communication support key system and record interception communication.

– It also has a self-protection suit inside the aircraft.

– This aircraft can be refueled in the air itself

– This is an aircraft which stays in the sky and keeps an eye on every movement of the enemy.

– Informs the army about any irregularities on the enemy lines.

-Netra is a light aircraft designed for surveillance.
