Kathmandu, 09 November (HS). Preparations for Vivah Panchami Mahotsav to be held on 6th December this year have started. There is a preparation for the Chief Minister of the state himself to go to Ayodhya soon to invite the wedding procession from Ayodhya for the marriage festival to be held in Janaki Temple of Janakpurdham.
On Saturday, an all-party meeting was called in the Janaki temple complex of Janakpurdham regarding preparations for Vivah Panchami. In this meeting, Madhesh Pradesh Government, Mahant of Janaki Temple, District Administration, local security officers, industry trade associations, representatives of various religious and social organizations were present. In this meeting several committees were formed to coordinate with everyone to make Vivah Panchami a grand success.
Mahant of Janaki Temple, Ram Tapeshwar Das said that this time on Vivah Panchami, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust's General Secretary Champat Rai, Vishwa Hindu Parishad's International General Secretary Rajendra Pankaj, other officials of the Trust, along with about 500 people, will come to Janakpurdham from Ayodhya. Information has been received. It also talks about the arrival of many famous saints of India. Among them, Mahant Kamal Nayan Das, the successor of Maniram Cantonment, Dr. Rameshwar Das, Mahant of Rishikesh and the head of Digambar Akhara are Mahant.
Before the arrival of the procession, the Mahant of Janaki Temple from Janakpurdham is going to Ayodhya to offer Tilak. Mahant Ram Tapeshwar Das said that tilak will be offered in Ayodhya on 16 November. With Tilak, Mahant Ram Roshan Das, the successor of Janaki Temple, will go to Ayodhya along with whom dozens of saints associated with Vishwa Hindu Parishad Nepal are also going to participate. In this entire Vivah Panchami program, Government of Nepal, Madhesh Pradesh Government, Janakpurdham Sub Municipal Corporation are jointly organizing while Vishwa Hindu Parishad Nepal is coordinating the entire program.
It has been decided to send the Chief Minister of Madhesh Pradesh to invite the wedding procession coming to Janakpur. State Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh said that it is a matter of good fortune for me to go to invite the wedding procession. He told that after coordination with the Indian Embassy, the date of going to Ayodhya will be decided within a day or two.
The procession will leave for Janakpur from Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya at 8 am on 26th November. The route for the procession, time of night rest and other programs to be held there have also been decided. On the first day, the procession from Ayodhya will rest at Azamgarh via Gosaikund, Ambedkar Nagar, Baskhari. Similarly, on the second day, it will rest at Buxar in Bihar via Mau, Rasra. On the third day, the program is scheduled to take place from Buxar via Ara, Bihta, Danapur and night halt at Pataliputra.
On the fourth day, there is an overnight stay in Kanti via Hajipur, Vaishali. On the fifth day, this procession will pass through Runi Saidpur and will have night halt at Punauradham of Sitamarhi. On the sixth day, there will be night halt at Madhwapur Matihani via Beni Patti, Basopatti. On the eighth day, the procession will enter Nepal from Matihani and will circumambulate Mithila city via Jaleshwar, Pipra. Night stay will be in Janakpurdham on the same day. Tilakotsav program will be organized in Janaki temple on the ninth day. On the tenth day, there will be a visit to Janakpurdham and a program of puja and Matkor in Gangasagar.
On the eleventh day, on 6th December, the original marriage ceremony will be organized in the amphitheater while the night marriage festival will be organized in the courtyard of Janaki temple. On the twelfth day, it has been decided to organize a banquet in honor of Ram Kaleva and the wedding procession. On the thirteenth day, the procession will have a formal farewell from Janakpurdham. This procession will reach Ayodhya from Janakpur after spending the night at Birganj via Motihari, Gopalganj, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur.
