Sunita criticized the nepotism spread in Bollywood and said that it is necessary to end it. He believes that if Tina gets the right opportunities, she too can make her mark.
Sunita’s displeasure over Tina not getting work
Sunita told that her daughter wants to work and is completely ready for it. He said:
“The same people, the same group work every time. Look at the talent outside, there are more people who are working hard to make their mark. Tina is also very fond of work, but she did not get the opportunities she should have got.”
Govinda had rejected the role of ‘Devdas’
In her interview, Sunita also mentioned an interesting incident related to Govinda’s career. He told that Govinda was offered the role of Chunnilal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Devdas’, which he rejected.
Sunita said:
“He was such a big star, why should he have played Chunnilal? After all, why should he play the second lead? He was a top actor in the 80s and 90s. Govinda handled that situation very intelligently.”
