The 70th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will be conducted on 13th December. 912 examination centers have been created across the state for the examination. This time around 4 lakh 80 thousand candidates have applied online for the examination. The question papers have been prepared in four different sets, which will be printed from different states. This will greatly reduce the possibility of any kind of error.
Exam set will be decided at the last moment
BPSC Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai told the press conference on Monday that three hours before the commencement of the examination, it will be decided through lottery from which set the examination will be conducted. Information about this decision will be immediately given to all District Magistrates (DMs). The Commission has implemented this system for the last several years keeping in mind the security of the examination.
Strong security arrangements
Strict security arrangements have been made to prevent any irregularities and malpractices in the examination. BPSC Chairman said that for security three level investigation system is applied. The following provisions have been made in it:
- 25,000 CCTV cameras – Strict monitoring will be maintained at every examination centre.
- jammer – Jammers will be installed at the examination centers so that any type of electronic device cannot be misused.
- Biometric and Iris Scanning – Biometric identification and iris scanning of all candidates will be done.
- photo identity card – It will be mandatory for the candidates to bring photo identity card with them.
These strict provisions are aimed at ensuring malpractice free examinations.
Timely entry of candidates
Entry of candidates at examination centers from the commencement of examination two and a half hours ago It will start immediately. This will help in maintaining order at the examination centers on time and any kind of chaos can be avoided.
Action against those spreading rumors on the internet
BPSC Chairman also said that in the last few days social media But an attempt was made to spread rumors regarding the examination. The Commission has identified these rumor mongers and action is being taken against them. He said that due to such rumours, candidates have to face unnecessary troubles, which the Commission is taking seriously.
Results of teacher appointment exam will be released from today
BPSC Chairman also informed that the results of various examinations will be released from Tuesday. These include the results of the Agriculture Department as well as the results of the teacher appointment examination. Teacher recruitment results will be released in different phases. It has started from Tuesday.
