Ranchi, July 19 (HS). BJP's state spokesperson Pratul Shah Dev said that the state government which talks about wasteful expenditure has wasted crores of rupees in just the photo war. JMM finds the visit of BJP's central leaders a wasteful expenditure but the Mobile Veterinary Clinic Van Scheme which is fully funded by the central government is on the verge of wastage only because of the photo war.

Pratul was addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters on Friday. He said that under this scheme, there was a plan to treat sick animals in remote rural areas by visiting the livestock owners' homes. There was a plan to provide such mobile vans in all 236 blocks of the state. 70 vans were also received in the first consignment. On August 10, 2023, the state government also signed an MoU for the operation of these vans, but these vans have been standing for more than a year. They still have pictures of former Chief Minister Champai Soren and former Agriculture Minister Badal Patra Lekh. No money of the state government has been spent in the purchase of these vans and the money is entirely of the central government. This is another example of how the state government wants to hang and stall the schemes of the Center.

Pratul said that similarly 66 lakh bags were made to provide ration to the poor, which had the picture of the then Chief Minister Champai Soren. Schemes were also mentioned in the bags. Out of these only 22 lakh bags were distributed while 44 lakh bags were not distributed. Pratul said that this is pure misuse of government treasury. Because, not distributing the bags for the last five months shows that Hemant Soren only believes in making his own face shine. That is why the remaining bags with the picture of former Chief Minister Champai Soren were not allowed to be distributed.

Pratul said that despite the clear instructions of the High Court, the state government is trying to mislead the court on the issue of Bangladeshi Muslim intruders. The High Court had given clear instructions that only the Deputy Commissioners of the six border districts will give information about intrusion through affidavit and will also tell the steps to expel them, but under pressure from the state government, junior officers like LRD, AC and SDO deliberately gave false information by giving affidavit that there are no Bangladeshi intruders in these six districts.

The state spokesperson said that today the government showed brutality towards the assistant policemen who came out on the streets for their legitimate demands. The helpless and unarmed assistant policemen were beaten with sticks. Many had their heads broken. Many are admitted in the hospital. These assistant policemen were protesting only to demand the implementation of the earlier assurances given by the government. This brutality is the truth of this government.
