Udaipur, May 22 (HS). Pratap Gaurav Kendra 'Rashtriya Teerth' will celebrate the birth anniversary of the brave Shiromani Maharana Pratap on Jyeshtha Shukla Tritiya on 9th June with events filled with patriotism. This year there will be four-day celebrations on the birth anniversary which will start from June 6. This time the events will also include Rashtra Sabha, Kavi Sammelan along with five workshops on different subjects.
Dr. BP Sharma, President of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Samiti, told in a press conference on Wednesday that on the eve of the birth anniversary, the inauguration program of the birth anniversary celebrations will be held on June 8 at 5:30 pm. In this, Joint General Secretary of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Dr. Krishna Gopal will be the main speaker. A request letter has been sent to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma for the chief hospitality in the program. On June 9, the events on the birth anniversary will begin with the milk bath of the huge meeting statue of Maharana Pratap. Special master classes of various workshops will run from 10 am to evening. There will be a huge gathering at 5:30 pm in which Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari will be the chief guest. The blessings of energetic saints will be received in the program.
Committee minister Mahavir Chaplot said that on June 8 at 8.30 pm there will be a story telling program in which famous theatre artist Vilas Janve and Manish Sharma will perform. The next day on June 9 at 8 pm Veer Ras Kavi Sammelan will be organized in which the signatures of the poetry world Hariom Singh Panwar, Ram Bhadawar, Ashok Charan, Sudeep Bhola, Ajatshatru, Kishore Pareek etc. will present their powerful creations.
Anurag Saxena, director of Pratap Gaurav Kendra, said that five workshops will be held from June 6 to June 8. These include subjects like painting, ancient script-language reading, story telling, short film making and 'Communication Skills-Personal Development-Life Skills'. Well-known signatures will give training in these workshops. Except painting, the other four workshops will be of three hours daily. Workshops for two subjects will be held in the morning session from 9 to 12 noon and workshops for two subjects will be held in the session from 2 to 5 pm. The painting workshop has been organized for the whole day. There will be a master class of all these workshops on June 9 in which well-known celebrities will make the participants aware of the intricacies of the subject. To participate in these workshops, participants must be 10th passed or 15 years of age. The workshops will be free and registration will have to be done online which will start from May 23. Interested participants will be able to participate in workshops of two subjects only.
Saxena said that on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti, Pratap Gaurav Kendra will also be decorated attractively and the visitors coming here will also be given fee exemption for two days on 8th and 9th June. The fee for two days will be Rs 50 only. Due to evening events, the water laser show will be postponed on both days. Entry to all events will be free.
