News India Live, Digital Desk: Lord Rama’s second life in the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh is going to be on Thursday (June 5). In this important program, the idol of King Rama along with other gods will be installed inside the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi campus. This is the first Pran Pratishtha ceremony held in January 2024.

The three -day ceremony began on 3 June and will conclude on 5 June with a grand ceremony. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be the chief guest on the last day. The event is being organized by Anjaneya Seva Trust, in which rituals will start at 11 am on Thursday. The Chief Minister will preside over the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Darbar, which will be on the first floor of the Ram temple.

Chairman of Anjaneya Seva Trust, Shashikant Maharaj said that the ritual will begin with traditional Vedic chanting and havan (fire ceremony). One of the main moments will be a ceremony to ‘open the eyes’ of the idols of Lord Rama and Mother Sita, which will be done by the Chief Minister. This ritual symbolizes the divine awakening and appearance of the gods in the temple.

Extensive security arrangements have been made in Ayodhya for the three -day event. However, the devotees have not been stopped from the regular vision of Ramlala, the child of Lord Rama. During the event, the authorities have started verification of those living in unauthorized settlements and tenants to ensure smooth management. CRPF, SSF and PAC security personnel are present to maintain law and order.

On this auspicious occasion, 62,000 coaches are being sent from Lucknow to Prasad. Chhappan Bhog’s marketing head Kshitij Gupta said that a special type of barfi has been prepared from chickpeas and moong dal to distribute among the devotees.

The idol of Lord Rama will be placed on a two -foot -high white marble throne in Ram Darbar. The idols of Mother Sita, Lord Hanuman and Lakshmana will also be seated with them. All these idols and the throne are beautifully carved out of the white marble from Jaipur, Rajasthan. The statue of Ram Darbar itself is about 4.5 feet high.

Statues will be worn grandly designed dresses

The idols will be worn grandly designed. They will wear complexly prepared crowns, jadau belts and zari work and embroidered clothes with precious stones. Famous dress designer Manish Tiwari has been tasked to make these magnificent dresses for the gods.

To maintain the sanctity of the temple, only a limited number of devotees will be allowed to visit the first floor of the temple, where the Ram Durbar is established. A special performance of the Ramayana on the second floor of the temple will be performed in many languages, including its oldest known version, which will enable the visitor to connect deeply to the story of the epic.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple itself is built in the traditional civil architecture style. Its walls have wide sculptures of Hindu deities, which reflect rich craftsmanship.

The first Pran Pratishtha ceremony was organized on 22 January 2024 during the inauguration of the temple by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At that time, the ‘Bal Roop’ of Lord Rama was represented.
