A major administrative change has been seen across the country amid fierce protests by students and political pressure over the NEET paper leak issue. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Has tendered his resignation from the post of Education Minister, which has been accepted by President Draupadi Murmu with immediate effect.
After the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, now senior BJP leader and Union Cabinet Minister Pralhad Joshi Has been given additional charge of the Education Ministry.

Resignation accepted: President of India Draupadi Murmu signed the Constitution on the advice of the Prime Minister. Clause (2) of Article 75 Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation from the Union Council of Ministers has been accepted immediately.

Additional Charges: On the advice of the Prime Minister, the President has directed that Cabinet Minister Pralhad Joshi be appointed along with his existing ministries. Ministry of Education Should be assigned additional charge.

Students’ agitation ends from Jantar Mantar
The protest by students and various youth organizations that was going on at Jantar Mantar for the last one week in the NEET paper leak case has now ended. After the resignation of the Education Minister and the process of agreeing to the demands by the government, the protesters have withdrawn the agitation and the Jantar Mantar site has been completely vacated.
