Sooraj Revanna arrested: Janata Dal (Secular) leader Sooraj Revanna has been arrested. Sooraj is the brother of Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of sexually harassing several women. Sooraj has been accused of sexual harassment by a male party worker. After which he has been arrested.

An activist accused the sun of working against nature

A JDS worker had filed a case against Sooraj Revanna at Holenarasipura police station in Hassan district. The activist alleges that Sooraj molested her at his farmhouse on June 16. The complainant told the police that 'Sooraj Revanna called me (complainant) to his farmhouse and forcibly kissed me. Also had unwelcome sex.' In this case, Hassan police have registered a case under sections 377, 342, 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Prajwal was arrested soon after his return from Germany

It is noteworthy that Prajwal, who lost from Hassan Lok Sabha seat, was arrested on May 31, immediately after returning from Germany. A case of rape and threat has also been registered against Prajwal. His father HD Revanna and mother Bhavani are on bail.
