Kathmandu, July 12 (HS). Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has left his official bungalow just before taking the trust vote in the Parliament. After the trust vote in the Parliament House, Prime Minister Prachanda is preparing to go directly to his private residence.
The process of the vote of confidence proposed by Prime Minister Prachanda in the House of Representatives has begun. After the power equations changed in Nepal and many political parties supporting Prachanda withdrew their support, his government has become a minority. However, instead of resigning from the post of Prime Minister, he has started the process of taking a vote of confidence.
On reaching the Parliament House, Prime Minister Prachanda said that he has left his official residence and will go straight to his private residence from here. Regarding the trust vote, the Prime Minister said that the Nepali people may have to pay the price for the dishonesty and fraud that KP Oli has done in politics. He said that the alliance formed between Congress and UML is surrounded by doubts in many ways.
At this time, the arithmetic of the parliament is not in Prachanda's favour. Prachanda, who once became the prime minister with the support of 273 MPs of the entire house, is today going out of power with only 63 MPs. A whip has been issued by more than two-thirds of the MPs to vote against Prachanda, who claimed to run the government for five years till a few days ago.
