Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav transferred to Ahmedabad, felicitated at regional office

Varanasi, July 05 (HS). After completion of his tenure, Varanasi region's Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav has been transferred to Ahmedabad on the same post. Yadav, an officer of the 2001 batch of Indian Postal Service, had a tenure of 3 years and 9 months in Varanasi. As the Postmaster General of Varanasi region, he not only connected postal services to the people but also gave it wider dimensions. During this period, Varanasi region not only established new dimensions in terms of achieving departmental goals, but public awareness and participation about postal services also increased.

He was also the longest serving Postmaster General in Varanasi region. In the 'Shubhgana Evam Abhinandan Samaroh' organized at the regional office on Friday, the officers and employees of the department honored Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav. They congratulated him on his new responsibilities and wished him a bright future.

Assistant Directors RK Chauhan and Brijesh Sharma said that along with promptness in departmental work, his unwavering attachment to social and literary concerns, establishes him as a sensitive and popular officer. Sharing his experiences of his tenure in Varanasi, Yadav said that it was a matter of good fortune for me to work in Varanasi region as Postmaster General. All departmental schemes were implemented promptly in Varanasi region and all departmental officers and employees gave full cooperation in this. He said that in Kashi, there is not only job but service. Praising the warmth of the people of Varanasi, he said that the cooperation and affection given by the people here will always be remembered.

He said that it is a beautiful coincidence that I started my career in civil services as Senior Postal Superintendent, Surat Division (July 2003-September 2004). After that, I have got the opportunity to be appointed in Gujarat once again via Lucknow, Kanpur, Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Prayagraj, Jodhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi. On this occasion, Senior Postal Superintendent Varanasi East Rajeev Kumar, Postal Superintendent Varanasi West Vinay Kumar, Chief Manager of India Post Payments Bank Brij Kishore, Postal Superintendent Ballia Hemant Kumar, Postal Superintendent Jaunpur Parmanand Kumar, Postal Superintendent Ghazipur PK Pathak, Assistant Director Brijesh Sharma etc. were also present.
