Jhajjar, June 10 (HS). State Public Works and Public Health Minister Dr. Banwari Lal on Monday provided possession letters of 100-yard plots to eligible beneficiaries under Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana in a cluster level program organized in the auditorium of Government Nehru PG College located at the district headquarters. These included 737 beneficiaries from Jhajjar district and 65 beneficiaries from Rewari district.
Earlier, in a state-level program organized in Sonipat, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini addressed the beneficiaries present in the program through webcasting and said that they should take advantage of the government schemes. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Captain Shakti Singh welcomed the chief guest Dr. Banwari Lal and gave information about the development work going on in the district.
Minister Dr Banwari Lal said that Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time, it is a matter of good fortune for all of us. Under the leadership of Modi, the strength of the country has increased in every way in the world. Dr Banwari Lal said that in the previous governments, corruption and nepotism were prevalent in jobs, but the current government has laid the foundation of a transparent system and has given jobs to the youth on the basis of ability and merit. On this occasion, District Council Chairman Captain Singh Birdhana, Sunita and Kuldeep Singh Bangar etc. were present.
