New Delhi, July 29 (HS). Positive signals are coming from the global market today. During the last trading session, there was an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the US market. Dow Jones Futures is also seen trading strongly today. Like the US market, the European market also managed to close with a strong gain during the last session. There is also a strong buying trend in the Asian market today.
Due to the excellent results of tech companies, the US market remained bullish during the last session, due to which the Wall Street index managed to close with gains. The S&P 500 index closed at 5,459.10 points with a gain of 1.11 percent. Similarly, the Nasdaq jumped 176.16 points or 1.03 percent to end the last session at 17,357.88 points. Dow Jones Futures is also currently trading at 40,750.27 points today with a gain of 160.93 points or 0.40 percent.
There was a buying pressure in the European market during the last session. The FTSE index closed at 8,285.71 points with a gain of 1.20 percent. Similarly, the CAC index jumped 1.21 percent and ended the last session at 7,517.68 points. Apart from this, the DAX index closed at 18,417.55 points with a gain of 118.83 points or 0.65 percent.
The Asian market is also trading strongly today. Out of 9 Asian markets, the indices of 8 are trading in the green with gains, while due to the holiday in the Thailand stock market, there is no movement in the composite index there today. GIFT Nifty is trading at the level of 24,977 points with a gain of 0.10 percent. Similarly, the Straits Times Index has reached the level of 3,451.60 with a gain of 0.73 percent.
The Nikkei index has made a strong jump today. Currently, this index is trading at 38,588.96 points with a gain of 921.55 points i.e. 2.45 percent. Similarly, the Hang Seng index has reached 17,331.24 points after jumping 309.93 points i.e. 1.79 percent. Apart from this, the Kospi index has jumped 1.36 percent to 2,768.92 points, the Taiwan Weighted Index has increased 129.90 points i.e. 0.59 percent to 22,249.11 points, the Jakarta Composite Index has strengthened 0.17 percent to 7,300.47 points and the Shanghai Composite Index is trading at 2,892.10 points with a slight increase of 0.04 percent.
