New Delhi, 04 November (HS). Positive signals are being received from the global market today. US markets had closed strongly during the last session. However, Dow Johns Futures seems to be trading with a decline today. Like the American market, buying continued in the European market also during the last session. Asian markets are also generally showing a bullish trend today.
Presidential elections are going to be held in America tomorrow. Because of this, trading continued with great caution on Wall Street. The S&P 500 index closed at 5,728.80 points with a gain of 0.41 percent. Similarly, Nasdaq ended the last session's trading at the level of 18,239.92 points with a gain of 144.77 points or 0.80 percent. Whereas Dow Johns Futures is currently seen trading at the level of 41,980.16 points with a weakness of 0.17 percent.
Like the American market, the European market also remained bullish during the last session. The FTSE index closed at 8,177.15 points with a gain of 0.82 percent. Similarly, the CAC index ended the last session's trading at the level of 7,409.11 points with a gain of 0.79 percent. Apart from this, DAX index jumped 177.43 points or 0.92 percent and closed at the level of 19,254.97 points.
Buying is generally seen in Asian markets today. Out of the 9 markets in Asia, the indices of 6 are trading in the green mark with gains, while 2 indices remain in the red mark with a decline. There is no change in Nikkei index due to holiday in Tokyo Stock Exchange. GIFT Nifty is trading at the level of 24,166.50 points with a weakness of 150.50 points or 0.62 percent. Similarly, Jakarta Composite Index fell by 0.69 percent to the level of 7,453.15 points.
On the other hand, the Straits Times Index is trading at the level of 3,574.51 points with a strength of 0.54 percent. Similarly, Hang Seng Index has reached the level of 20,532.20 points with a gain of 0.13 percent. Kospi index has taken a big jump today. At present this index is trading at the level of 2,584.18 points with a rise of 1.64 percent. Similarly, Taiwan Weighted Index has reached the level of 22,899.25 points with a gain of 119.17 points or 0.52 percent. Apart from this, the SET Composite Index is trading with a gain of 0.11 percent at the level of 1,465.75 points and the Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a gain of 0.53 percent at the level of 3,289.51 points.
