Mumbai: Police have submitted a final report to the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) presenting all evidence to try the 17-year-old minor involved in a Porsche car accident in Kalyani Nagar in Pune as an adult, an official said.
On May 19, allegedly under the influence of drugs, the minor drove a luxury car and crushed two people. As such, he has been kept in a remand home. The police filed an application to prosecute the minor as an adult. In support of the case, the police have submitted a report in the JJB with all the evidence from the day of the incident to the time of the accident from home to the time of the accident, to prove that the car was being driven by the minor.
The report includes eyewitness statements, CCTV footage, evidence of alcohol consumption at both restaurants. The official said the report supports the argument of treating minors as adults.
Ramayan's investigation revealed that the burnt samples of the minor and her mother were dumped in the biomedical waste of Sasoon Hospital. The minor's parents and two doctors, an assistant and a middleman of the hospital have been arrested in this case.
