Shimla, 02 November (HS). In the assembly elections of Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the guarantees of the Congress government of Himachal are being mentioned and the BJP seems to be attacking the Congress on this issue. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also posted on social media that there are Congress governments in Himachal, Karnataka and Telangana and the pace of development in these states is going from bad to worse. Even the government employees in Himachal are not getting their salaries on time. After this post of the Prime Minister, State Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has responded by posting on X. In this, the Chief Minister has claimed that his government has fulfilled five out of 10 guarantees.

The Chief Minister has said that the Congress government has fulfilled the guarantees of Old Pension Scheme, monthly allowance of Rs 1500 to women, English medium education from class one, startup fund of Rs 650 crore to promote entrepreneurship and implementation of support price of milk. Has gone. On the other hand, Himachal's opposition party BJP has hit back at the ruling Congress over Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu's claim of fulfillment of five guarantees. The opposition has termed it as just a “false claim” and called it a hoax on the people of the state.

Former Chief Minister and BJP leader Jairam Thakur said that “Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu should now refrain from making false promises. Their national president has also admitted that false promises bring disgrace to the government.” Jai Ram Thakur raised the question that if all the guarantees of the government have been fulfilled, then should the public not have any more expectations?

Jairam Thakur also took a dig at the government's claim of “system change” and said that the public does not see anything concrete in this change of the government. Jairam Thakur sarcastically said, “Is this the change in the system in the name of which the public was misled?”

He said that the work of the government has been limited to claims only and their responsibility towards the public is being ignored.
