Political turmoil in Bihar before the monsoon session! BJP-JDU’s taunt on Tejashwi Yadav’s ‘disappearance’, politics heats up Political turmoil in Bihar ahead of the monsoon session! BJP and JD(U) take a dig at Tejashwi Yadav for going ‘missing’; political temperature rises.

The heat of summer is at its peak in the politics of Bihar even before the monsoon session. The absence of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav just before the monsoon session of the Assembly starting from July 20 has given rise to a new debate. The ruling NDA (BJP-JDU) alliance has raised questions over Tejashwi Yadav not being in the state before the session or not showing activism. On the silence and absence of this prominent face of the opposition, the ruling party has started projecting it as a distance from the public and running away from responsibility, due to which a round of allegations and counter-allegations has started in the political circles even before the commencement of the House proceedings.

Ruling party’s attack, ‘Opposition leader is missing’

Making it a big issue, BJP and JDU leaders have said that at an important time like the monsoon session, when the state is going to discuss serious issues like floods, development and law and order, the face of the opposition is missing. NDA spokespersons say that leaving aside his political responsibilities, Tejashwi Yadav is traveling abroad or has personal commitments, which clearly shows the ignorance of the people of Bihar. BJP claims that the opposition does not have any concrete issue to discuss in the House, hence they are trying to run away after sensing the atmosphere of the session.

RJD countered, said- ‘Don’t do the work of polishing politics’

On the other hand, RJD leaders have completely rejected these claims. Party sources say that Tejashwi Yadav has pre-determined commitments and he will be present in full strength in the House during the session. RJD alleges that the government is raising baseless questions on the opposition to hide its failures and divert attention. The party hit back, saying the government should worry about how it will work for the flood victims this time and not about when and where the opposition leader is.

What will be the big bang in monsoon session?

This monsoon session starting from July 20 is considered very important for Bihar. There are full chances of an uproar in the House regarding the current economic condition of Bihar, new rules of the Education Department, and recent crime incidents. Experts believe that with the return of Tejashwi Yadav, the opposition has prepared a big strategy to corner the government. This ongoing attack and counter-attack between both NDA and RJD has made it clear that this time the session of Bihar Assembly is going to be turbulent and challenging, in which the fire of politics of allegations and counter-allegations can flare up further.
