Lucknow, 28 March (HS). Entrepreneurs from various districts of Purvanchal met Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav at the state headquarters on Thursday. During this, a memorandum was submitted on behalf of Indian Industries Association (IIA), an organized body of micro, small and medium industrial units. IIA delegation congratulated Akhilesh Yadav. The delegation of Indian Industries Association (IIA) included Brijesh Kumar Yadav as President, Mohammad Suhail and Ashish Yadav as Vice Presidents, Gulab Pandey as General Secretary, Shatrughan Maurya as Treasurer and Arvind Maurya as Secretary.

Akhilesh Yadav, in his address on this occasion, said that small, medium and micro industrial units cannot run at full capacity without government support. There are more than 9 thousand units in the state. Small and medium units have to face many challenges in front of multinational companies. China has captured our market.

He said that the policies of the BJP government are anti-people. Only the capital houses benefit from BJP's policies. Loans worth Rs 15 lakh crore of big industrialists were waived off but the loans of farmers and the poor were not waived off. If help was given to small and medium units, more than 90 percent employment would have been created. Unemployment can be solved only with the cooperation of farmers and traders.

Akhilesh Yadav said that inflation and corruption are rampant in the BJP government. Development is stunted. There was extensive improvement in the electricity system during the socialist government. Power generation units were established, whereas under the BJP government, not a single unit of power has been produced and the power bill has more than doubled. Both the policies and intentions of BJP cannot solve the current problems.

The SP President said that the path to a strong nation lies with progress and development. There is a lot of noise about creating a five trillion dollar economy, have the required policies been made for it? Even in Uttar Pradesh, a lot of claims are being made about creating a trillion economy, whereas there is no roadmap visible for this. The country has to be saved from the false promises and capitalist policies of BJP. BJP has made recovery through electoral bonds. In the Lok Sabha elections, businessmen and entrepreneurs will use their full strength to help the candidates of Samajwadi Party PDA India alliance win.

In the memorandum submitted on the problems of Sathariya Industrial Development Authority (CD) Jaunpur, it has been said that it was established with Noida. Lands in Noida were made freehold, on the same lines SIDA lands should also be made freehold. To run industries, 132 KV sub-stations should be established and land should be given to industrial units in the blocks at affordable rates. In the memorandum, a demand has been made to establish a trauma center in the CHC center in Sathariya industrial area, to acquire land for the expansion of CIDA and to open Atal Residential School in the industrial area.
