Lucknow, 17 October (HIST). Panchayati Raj Minister in Uttar Pradesh government, Om Prakash Rajbhar has hit out at the opposition for raising questions on the Bahraich violence and the police encounter of the fathers accused of murdering the youth. He answered the questions of journalists and targeted the opposition in his own style.
Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar gave a blunt statement and said that when the police goes to arrest someone and someone opens fire on him, will the police garland him or shower flowers on him?
The police have to catch them (criminals) whether dead or alive. If you have committed a crime then you will have to live underground or in jail. The way law and order has been running in Uttar Pradesh for the last seven and a half years, law and order should be maintained in the country and state in the same manner. Answering a question, the Panchayati Raj Minister said that he still has a bullet in his leg. They will be caught and taught more lessons.
