Police suspect that the accused got help from foreign anti-national elements

Mumbai: In the case of firing at Salman Khan's house, Mumbai Police is investigating whether the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had received funding or weapons from anti-national elements operating outside India.

On 14 April, two men opened fire at Khan's Galaxy apartment in Bandra. Four accused were arrested in this case. Out of which two were caught from Punjab and two from Gujarat. Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, Sonu Kumar Chander Bishnoi and Anuj Thapan were included.

The crime branch on Monday produced Gupta, Pal and Thapan in the court for remand, and the court sent them to custody till May 8. Lawrence Bishnoi's organized crime gang is active internationally, police are investigating whether they received any help from anti-national elements outside India.

Police are tracing the weapons given to the shooters. Bishnoi gang wants to spread terror in Mumbai. The investigating agency said whether the gang members had tried to extort ransom from the city leaders is also being investigated.
