Ranchi, June 23 (HS). The siren of the ATM room of Bank of Maharashtra located on Kishoreganj Road under Sukhdev Nagar police station area of the capital suddenly started ringing on Sunday. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and investigated. It was told that an attempt was made to change the card strip of the machine. This is the reason why the siren started ringing.
After the siren rang, the police called the bank manager and asked him to check for tampering in the ATM. No irregularities were found on checking the ATM card strip. The police station in-charge said that no irregularities were found in the ATM during the investigation. Investigation is being done on other points including CCTV footage.
