Kanpur, July 11 (HS). Some people beat up a young man travelling in Kalindi Express from Kalyanpur police station area and forcibly took him away. As soon as the video of this incident went viral on social media, the police became active and recovered the victim safely. In this regard, the GRP police has registered a case and is taking legal action.
Assistant Police Commissioner Kalyanpur Abhishek Kumar Pandey told media persons on Thursday that information was received through social media about a youth being beaten up and kidnapped by some youths travelling in Kalindi Express arriving at Kalyanpur Railway Station. After this, police teams became active. The victim youth was rescued safely.
