Police practiced Balva drill to stop rioters

Jalaun, 18 October (Hindustanism). To maintain peace and law and order in the district, Balwa drill was practiced at Police Lines Orai on Friday in the presence of Superintendent of Police. During this, policemen were given information about the use and precautions of riot control equipment. Rubber bullet guns, lathi charge, tear gas shells, anti-riot guns and other weapons were demonstrated in the drill. Monitoring was also done through drone cameras.

On Friday, police practiced Balwa drill to prevent riots and rioters in case of any kind of situation. Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar was present during this drill. During the practice of Balwa Drill, action was taken under Balwa Drill to disperse the insurgent people (crowd) from among the policemen themselves and the policemen were provided with riot control equipment like rubber bullet guns, lathi charge, tear gas shells, anti-rights guns, Information was given regarding weapons like tear gas gun, tear smoke cell, hand grenade etc. and demonstration of Balva drill was done. During the drill, monitoring was also done through drone cameras.

Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar said that this is part of policing to maintain peace and order and it is regularly practiced on sensitive occasions. In this, the police have been drilled on how to deal with riots and rioters.
