He told that Pooja Mathur, wife of Madhav Mathur, resident of Tilak Nagar, Kanpur city, filed a complaint in Cyber Police Station Kanpur on November 20 and said that cyber thugs tampered with the net banking of the current account of her firm and withdrew a total of Rs. 10 lakh 95 thousand 888 from the current account of the firm. Spent the money. In this regard, Inspector Sunil Kumar Verma, in-charge of the cyber police station, immediately registered a case and started investigating the matter and during the investigation, it came to light that the entire amount of the fraud was done by cyber thugs through online shopping on the online shopping platform.
After which Cyber Crime Cell took immediate action and email correspondence was done through merchants of online shopping and high officials of Cyber Crime Kanpur city email correspondence was done through merchants and Cyber Crime Kanpur officials also sent emails to merchants companies based in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru. After talking to the nodal officers of the headquarters and coordinating, they told that this online shopping has been done by cyber thugs, this should be stopped immediately and the said amount should be returned to the victim’s account. After which the entire amount was returned to the victim’s account on Tuesday. Happy with this, the victim thanked the police officers and employees.
