Banaskantha News: A Shiv Bhakta policeman from Banaskantha decided to use the leave accrued during his job to go on a pilgrimage to 12 Jyotirlingas and 4 Dhams on a bicycle, to give a noble message of staying healthy to the youth of the country. The policemen reached Nadiad after covering a distance of more than 13 thousand kilometers. In his conversation, a unique vitality was seen in awakening the youth from their dormant state towards devotion to Shiva and patriotism.
In Nadiad, a youth was seen traveling on a bicycle with a sign saying ‘Shiv Yatra’ on it, the Indian national flag on one side and the Gujarat Police flag on the other, along with some luggage. While talking to Sandesh, he told that he is Sanjaygiri Bhikhagiri Goswami (age 42 years), originally from Palanpur. He has been serving in the police department for 18 years. Currently working as the driver of Banaskantha Police Chief. Being a devotee of Shiva himself, he decided to make good use of the pending holidays by going on Shiva Yatra, which included 12 Jyotirlingas and 4 Dhams.
Also, he decided to do this Shiv Yatra on bicycle to make today’s youth health conscious. He left Palanpur on 23 May. He has covered a distance of 13780 kilometers. A distance of 1700 km is still left, one Dham and two Jyotirlinga are left, today is the 195th day, they have reached Nadiad via Dakor and from here they will reach Palanpur via Salangpur, Junagadh, Somnath, Dwarka, Ahmedabad and will reach Ambaji.
He is expected to reach back to Palanpur by 22 December. His Banaskantha SP Akshayraj Makwana encouraged and guided him for this cycle journey. Now that his cycling tour of India is about to be completed, he says that he feels a different kind of liveliness, a unique confidence and enthusiasm inside himself.
