Police confiscated property worth more than 60 lakhs of two gangsters


Firozabad, July 9 (HS). On Tuesday, the police teams of Tundla and Pachokhara police stations of the district confiscated property worth more than Rs 60 lakh belonging to gangsters Sukhbir alias Sukha and Swami alias Summa. This action of the police has created an atmosphere of fear among the criminals.

Additional Superintendent of Police City Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said that in the course of the campaign being run against criminals by Senior Superintendent of Police Saurabh Dixit, the police team of Tundla police station has taken action to confiscate the immovable property worth Rs 59 lakh 92 thousand 872 of Sukhbir alias Sukha, son of Hazarilal Yadav, resident of Usaini, Thana Tundla, an accused in the Gangster Act, under the Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act 1986. He said that Sukhbir alias Sukha's movable and immovable property worth Rs 1 crore 89 lakh 39000 has already been confiscated. Sukhbir alias Sukha has a criminal history.

ASP informed that police team of Tundla and Pachokhra police station has taken action of confiscation by going to the spot and attaching immovable property worth Rs. 2 lakhs 76 thousand 582 under Gangster Act of gang leader accused Swami Shankar alias Summa, son of Bharat Singh Yadav, resident of village Banna, police station Tundla. Nearly half a dozen cases are registered against gang leader accused Swami Shankar alias Summa. Sub-district magistrate Tundla Gajendra Pal Singh, CO Tundla Rajesh Kumar Singh, police station in-charge Tundla Anuj Kumar, police station in-charge Pachokhra Sachin Kumar etc were in the team that carried out attachment action.
