Anupam Kher shared a picture with the accused thieves and Mumbai police officials and wrote a long note. The actor wrote- 'My heartfelt appreciation to Mumbai Police for catching the two thieves who vandalized my office, stole my safe and stole the negatives of #MaineGandhiKoNaiMara. The fact that this was done in 48 hours shows their incredible efforts!!' Earlier, Mumbai Police had shared a post on Instagram and told that the people who stole from Anupam Kher's office were caught holding The police wrote- 'While investigating a theft complaint in Azad Nagar, Amboli PSTN officials identified two suspects within 24 hours through technical investigation method. The investigation team also recovered the stolen items, including a film reel, cash and an iron safe.
According to the report, Majid Sheikh and Daler Bahrim Khan, who carried out the theft in Anupam Kher's office, were arrested from Jogeshwari area on Friday night. Police said that both of them were regular thieves and used to go to different parts of the city in an autorickshaw to commit theft.
