Mirzapur, 22 August (HS). The person who fraudulently married a woman and pressurized her to change her religion was arrested by Santnagar police on Thursday and sent to jail. On 19 August, a woman from the police station area had filed a complaint against the accused.
Taking the incident seriously, Superintendent of Police Abhinandan directed the police station in-charge Santnagar under the leadership of Area Officer Lalganj to arrest the accused as soon as possible. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case and started investigation. On Thursday, Sub-Inspector Surendra Yadav, on the basis of the information received, arrested the named accused Mushtaq Ahmed son of Ali Hussain resident Banki from the police station area. Taking legal action, the accused was sent to jail.
