Kishanganj, 19 August (HS). Police has succeeded in busting a bike thief gang. On Monday, SDPO Gautam Kumar told the media in Sadar police station that four thieves have been arrested along with 13 stolen motorcycles.
He told that first of all a bike thief Mohd. Israel was arrested by Bahadurganj police station. After which when he was strictly interrogated, he revealed the names of other accomplices. After which Sadar police station raided a bike garage located at Halim Chowk in the city and recovered the stolen motorcycle. SDPO told that Mohd. Salam, who is a resident of Gwalpokhar police station area of Bengal, runs a garage in Halim Chowk of the city. Where he used to buy and sell stolen motorcycles.
He told that a case is registered against Israel in Purnia and he has committed many crimes before this. SDPO said that it is a very commendable step of Sadar Thana Police and Bahadurganj Police that such a big case has been solved by establishing mutual coordination. Sadar Thana Police Station Head Sandeep Kumar, Bahadurganj Thana Police Station Head Abhinav Parasar, Kundan Kumar and other officers were present in the press conference.
