On October 23, a criminal Nitish Kumar was caught in an encounter with the Bahadrabad police station. While the other three miscreants managed to escape from the spot.

Meanwhile, the police arrested Sudhir and shooter Pritam alias Kallu along with the pistol, cartridges used in the incident and the bike used in the incident. On interrogating the accused, information was received about the involvement of three others in the conspiracy and the involvement of four shooters in the crime including the accused who was injured in the encounter. The police team also arrested three others.
