Bokaro, 7 September (HS). In the past few days, incidents of theft in houses were happening continuously in Bokaro city. In view of the seriousness of the incidents, a special raiding team was formed under the leadership of City DSP. With the help of technical evidence and CCTV footage, the raiding team identified the criminals involved in the theft, and raids were being conducted continuously for their arrest.
During the raid, Badshah Khan alias Sonu alias Alam Ansari father Abdul Latif Ansari was arrested from near Garga bridge ghat on 06 September and several stolen mobile phones were recovered from him. Badshah Khan admitted in his confession statement that he had committed thefts in several houses in Bokaro city. On his information, stolen jewellery was recovered from the house of Ramesh Singh of village Bhanga Bazar, Pindrajoda police station area and Ramesh Singh, who bought the stolen goods, was arrested. On the information given by Badshah Khan, a stolen mobile phone was recovered from Mukesh Bauri of Dhanbad Meena Bazar Charkunia and he was arrested. Also, on the information given by Badshah Khan, two stolen bicycles were recovered from the bushes near Bokaro Sector One B Steel School. Bokaro SP Pujya Prakash said this while addressing a press conference in the Superintendent of Police auditorium. City DSP Alok Ranjan, Chas DSP Praveen Kumar Singh along with Sector 4 police station in-charge, City police station in-charge, Pindrajora police station in-charge and others were present in this press conference.
• On September 03, a criminal named Muskan Kumar, who was stealing in the city area, was sent to judicial custody from the City Police Station along with the stolen goods. On September 04, while solving the theft that took place in the temple in Sector 12 Police Station area, the stolen goods were recovered and a criminal named Sunny Lohara was sent to jail in judicial custody.
