Police alert of a dozen districts of Haryana

Chandigarh, 6 December (HS). Farmers protesting at Shambhu border of Haryana and Punjab will march to Delhi on Friday afternoon. Farmer organizations have started gathering at Shambhu border. The farmers’ protest at Shambhu border has been going on for 297 days. On Friday, on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the farmers have announced to leave the Shambhu border and march towards Delhi. This morning, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the fast unto death has entered the 11th day.

In the last ten months, memorandums were given to the Central and State Ministers but no one listened to them. Now today afternoon, 101 farmers and laborers will march to Delhi. Pandher said that many Khap Panchayats of Haryana are in support of the farmers. Many business organizations are also cooperating. Pandher said that now the next target of the farmers is to march to Delhi. Any method can be adopted for this. Ready to make the biggest sacrifice.

Meanwhile, Haryana Director General of Police Shatrujit Kapoor held a meeting with the Superintendents of Police of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Jind and Sirsa from Chandigarh late last night and took stock of the security arrangements. Punjab’s border with the districts of Haryana has been sealed. Although the farmers have announced to march to Delhi from Shambhu border, they can also march towards Delhi through other routes. Due to which the police of all the border districts have been alerted.
