Mirzapur, 23 April (HIST). Ahraura police arrested three miscreants with illegal country-made pistol, magazine and country-made pistol from near Jargo Dam on Tuesday evening. Code of conduct is in force in the district regarding Lok Sabha elections. The police administration is keeping a close watch on the criminals.
On the basis of information received from near Jargo Dam on Tuesday evening at around 4.15 pm, Ahraura police, while visiting the area, arrested three suspects, Priyanshu Patel, son of Arun Patel, resident of Visheshpur police station, Naugarha district, Chandauli, Sandeep Patel, son of Dinesh Patel and Satish, riding a motorcycle, from the area. Patel alias Sonu Patel, son of Siyaram Singh, resident of Banaura police station, Panuganj district, Sonbhadra, was arrested. One .32 bore country made pistol, two magazines, two country made pistols of 315 bore and two live cartridges were recovered from them. Sub Inspector Dilip Kumar said that a case was registered in connection with the arrest and recovery. Legal action was taken against the accused and they were sent to jail and the motorcycle used in the incident was seized.
